Robert Colquhoun FIDM
Robert is a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing. In retail and distribution since 1987 from ’98 to ‘07 he was co-founder and CEO of multi brand Dream Direct plc recruiting and servicing over 1 million customers growing the business to £19m turnover with over 150 employees with both in-house and outsourced services. Dream was listed on the AIM stock market in 2002. Dr Bryan Mayoh one of the most experienced home shopping professionals in the UK (vice chairman of The Javelin Group, previously MD of Littlewoods Home Shopping and ex Chairman of Dream Direct 2005-07) described Dream as one of the best run companies he had encountered.
Maura Beishon DipDM FIDM
Maura is a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing and has been in the industry since 1985. Maura spent seven years at the largest direct marketing agency in Europe, WWAV Rapp Collins, achieving Group Account Director level, with clients such as Next, Racing Green, NSPCC and Christies Contemporary Art Galleries. She was headhunted by entrepreneur client Bob Scott to be Scotts of Stow Marketing Director for the next 5 years. Maura then founded and ran multi brand House of Bath achieving £21m sales within 5 years, profit within 2 years, and a peak EBIT of £800k, also winning 12th place in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 League of Fastest Growing Unquoted Companies. House of Bath won best new catalogue award in 1999 and was sold to JD Williams in 2005. Maura worked for JD Williams for 2 years and then joined Compton and Woodhouse to review and integrate their acquisition Brookes and Bentley.
